304B Stainless Steel Bar Best Stainless is proud to offer 304B stainless steel bars, manufactured to B8 Class 2 and ASTM A-479/A276 specifications. This high-strength austenitic grade combines exceptional corrosion resistance with enhanced mechanical properties, making it ideal for demanding fastener and structural applications. Our 304B stainless steel bars feature a minimum tensile strength of 125,000 psi and a minimum yield strength of 100,000 psi, with excellent performance in both marine and chemical processing environments. Available in precision ground round bar and threaded rod configurations, these products are particularly valued in applications where standard 304 stainless steel's properties would be insufficient.

Notes:

  • Properties shown are minimums except for hardness (maximum)
  • Center (core) properties may be lower than indicated by test reports which are based on values determined at ½ radius for diameters 1½" and over
  • For sizes ¾ in. in diameter and smaller, a maximum hardness of 241 HBW (100 HRB) is permitted
  • Austenitic steels in the strain-hardened condition may not show uniform properties throughout the section particularly in sizes over ¾ in. in diameter
